The Office of U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, along with the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty, the New Mexico Primary Care Association, and Gadsden Independent School District are hosting a health care information event, “ACA and You,” on Thursday, November 13 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Chaparral, N.M.
Event attendees will have access to well-trained health care guides and health care professionals who will be able answer questions about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicaid, health insurance coverage options, and more. Free health screenings will also be available on site and the Children’s Reading Foundation of Doña Ana County will be giving books to children who attend the event. Information and assistance will be available in English and Spanish. The event is free and all are encouraged to attend.

Habrán expertos de la salud estara desponsible al evento para respuestar preguntas sobre la Ley de Cuidado de Salud, Medicaid, comó inscribirse para recibir cobertura médica y más. Estara exámenes de salud gratis y la Reading Foundation of Doña Ana County regalará libros a los niños. Información estara desponsible en Inglés y Español.
